Hear the one about a comedian who never drinks milk in her entire life!

     Once there was a fact which no one would believe, Whoopi Goldberg the famous comedian Hollywood actress, who never drink milk in her entire life!

Goldberg is lactose-intolerant, which means she lacks huge amounts of a digestive enzyme to digest the natural sugar (lactose) in milk.


     Every day she was deprived of all dairy products because they contain a sufficient amount of lactose which makes her upset, in the same time Dairy companies were thinking of free-lactose products to serve a sufficient number of people that will lead to an increase in their sales! 

Until one day she saw an advertisement for real lactose-free products especially milk.

A company called “the California Milk Processor Board” invented a well know brand name called “Got Milk?”


     “Got Milk?" launched a huge campaign by taking a picture of celebrities with a milk mustache on their face. The company generated a product of lactose-free milk which suitable for the lactose-intolerant folks with remaining all the calcium ratio of the regular milk.

Now it allows those people to enjoy a morning cold milk feeling after they didn't try it for their entire life.

     Because of that Whoopi Goldberg shows up interest by being a part of the milk mustache campaign generated by “Got Milk?” Company.

"Lucky for us lactose-intolerant folks,” she says. “There’s lactose-free milk,” she continued with a happy smile on her face in the "Got Milk?" ad.

     Ever since then, this campaign has made an enormous media hype that changed marketing directions at that time. In my opinion that was one of the best marketing campaigns, I've ever seen in my life. If we can look at several scopes such as clarity, engagement, and delivery, we will see that all of them are done to the fullest.
